Mr. Miller's Classroom

Milestone

ten_t

We’ve reached a milestone for classroom blogs, appropriately on the last day of the calendar year. Getting 10,000 people to visit your site in one year is no small task and we did it on December 17th. Yes, many of them are from our local community, but the largest majority are visitors from around the globe. This magic number has been reach because of the students that have passed through the doors of room 162. They have reached out to other students and schools all over the planet to share their writing and to collaborate on projects and activities. They have no fear. This year’s group are no exception. We have been working on blogging etiquette and building advanced skills like learning html codes, tags, and how to embed various web resources on blogs in anticipation of joining the Edublog Challenge next March. Our next milestone will be 20,000 and I think we will reach that much sooner than this one!
